Mission

At Almavina Strategic Partners, our mission is to catalyze strong and healthy mission-driven organizations who embrace, honor, and value leaders of all identities.

Theory of Impact

We do this through people and systems; by developing communities of emerging female leaders and providing frameworks, tools, and strategies to support organizational health.

Beliefs

We believe that…

  • Organizational health has a profound impact on personal health and wellbeing.
  • Gendered biases and gendered racism create barriers and roadblocks for women across all sectors.
  • Mission-driven work requires both a commitment to the mission and a commitment to oneself and one’s colleagues.
  • There are systemic and individual approaches to workplace challenges and solutions require the integration of systems and people.
  • Continuous experiential learning is essential for progress, whether it be through our own experience or the experiences of others.

Values

  • Humility. We know what we know and we know what we don’t know. We learn from mistakes and are ever-evolving.
  • Honesty. We tell the truth, and we want to hear it, too. We are kind in our delivery and expect the same.
  • Humor. We laugh – sometimes even at ourselves and our situations. We make hard work fun.
  • Heart. We care deeply about our work, our colleagues, and ourselves. And our care for work is never greater than our care for ourselves.

Tenets

  • We don’t make assumptions, we ask questions.
  • We are flexible with the “how and when” and aligned on the “what and why.”
  • Work works best when we are free to bring our whole selves.
  • Humanity is at the forefront of our interactions with others and with our work. We remember that there is a real person behind every challenge.
